Lilly Anne: 25 Weeks

Merry Christmas, Lilly Anne!  You had TWO great opportunities to open gifts, even though all you wanted to do was eat the paper.  Over the weekend, your grandparents on your daddy's side came up to celebrate with us, and my dad came over on Christmas Day, and even stayed the day after to give your daddy and I a date to see an afternoon movie.  We didn't get anything too exciting for Christmas; we tried to follow the "something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read" idea--but didn't really succeed.  Ha.  I did make you a stuffed reindeer and a taggie blanket.  The reindeer was whatever, but you are loving chewing on those tags!  You got a few toys, a few books, including this awesome fuzzy one, some bows (couldn't help myself), and I decided to count your new bowls and spoons as your "need" gift.  As exciting as all of that was though, I think my favorite moment was at Christmas Eve service, when you HELD HANDS with Jed for a good 5 minutes.  We were all silently dying, debating the inappropriateness of breaking out our phones to snap a picture in the middle of Pastor Brad's message.  Sorry Brad!  It was the absolute cutest thing I've ever.

We took most of this week off of solids, because your poor little system isn't handling them very well.  Your tummy troubles are hurting your sleep, which has just had you out of sorts a little bit all week.  You are starting to sit up for long periods of time though, and you still love jumping!  Nothing makes you light up like your kitties, though!
